Sales Representative (New York Tri-State Area)

IVCi HOME a leading provider of custom home automation solutions has an opening for a Sales Professional in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut area. This individual will be responsible for selling IVCi HOME'S entire portfolio of products and services to home owners. Service portfolio includes:

Whole house audio
Home theatre
Lighting control
Drapery control
HVAC control
Pool and spa control
Security system control

The successful candidate will possess sales skills and experience to conduct the following activities:

Develop a detailed understanding of IVCi HOME products and services
Active and ongoing prospecting in the territory. Design and implement focused prospecting activities to include; marketing to contractors, designers and architects as well has home owners in the assigned territory
Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer's needs and desires and work with IVCi HOME engineering to develop a technology solution
Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate and that are profitable to IVCi
Travel, as necessary, to cover sales responsibilities

The preferred candidate will have at a minimum a college degree, 5 years sales experience with a proven record of sales success in the home automation or related industry.
