Trump Tower Private Residence

The Project:
IVCi Home delivered a top-of-the-line AV integrated home automation solution that can be easily controlled from any room in the residence.
Home Theater:
The living room contains a Kaleidescape digital movie server that was upgraded to include 1080p players. A Panasonic 65” 1080p plasma display with Denon AVR-5308CI receiver was installed, and the room was equipped with powerful Vienna Acoustics on-wall speakers for full 7.1 surround sound.
Crestron Control Panels:
Three existing Crestron 2000L wall-mounted touch panels were relocated throughout the home. A pair of Crestron TPMC-8X 8.4” wireless touch panels were installed in the living room and the bedroom for convenient system control and Internet access. The IVCi Home in-house staff of Crestron-certified programmers designed control systems with user-friendly, icon-driven menus. These easy to use touch panels control the master bedroom, office, and main entranceway. Each device allows complete monitoring and control of lighting, shading, audio, and video.
This Trump Tower condo received an extreme upgrade to its existing home technology system, complementing the plush interior design and spectacular midtown Manhattan views. Adding new wireless TPMC-8X touchpanels and relocating existing panels, provides whole house Internet access and streaming video, in addition to seamless control of all lighting, shades, and distributed audio and video.
Leveraging WiFi and Web browsing capabilities of TPMC-8X to suit the Wall Street trader, all GUIs were customized to access real time financial market data and financial websites. A unique alarm clock feature activates preferred music, lighting, and shade settings at preset times. This extreme makeover exemplifies the scalability and investment value of Crestron technology, without having to scrap an existing system and start from scratch.”

Whole House Audio and Video:
High-quality audio and video were integrated into every room of this residence. The audio system includes a Kaleidescape Music Player which delivers all of the homeowner's imported CD collection, XM/Sirius satellite radio, and AM/FM terrestrial radio. The system also includes two in-wall iPort iPod docking stations, stand-alone CD functionality, and in-ceiling speakers. The video solution includes a video gaming system, HD cable DVR's, video camera jacks, gaming ports, Kaleidescape Digital Movie Server and PC integration. iPort docking stations with video were included and all house video can be streamed to a mobile device using a Slingbox product. The master bedroom was equipped with a wall-mounted 55” Fujitsu HD plasma display, and a Panasonic 37” 1080p plasma display was installed in the office.
Lighting:
Lighting control for each room was established with a Lutron RadioRa solution that was integrated into the control system. The user may choose a specific lighting scene, all on/ all off setting, or away setting. All lighting can be controlled through the touch panels, in addition to the wall switches.
Shading:
Shades on either side of the residence can be controlled with one touch though the control panels.
Special Feature - Integrated Alarm Clock:
IVCi Home integrated an alarm clock setting into this AV solution, so that a preferred setting for music, shading, and lighting will be activated when the alarm clock goes off.
